From Lauryn:  “Emily and Justin adopted Lilly about a year ago and have completely fallen in love with her! She is the sweetest pup! She is 7 years old and a Golden Retriever. We had such a fun time together at their local Dog Park!”

From Emily:  ”Growing up my family always had a dog.  It started with “adopting” my grandmother’s dog once it got to be too much for her and we’ve had one ever since!  After Justin and I got married, I started to make noise about getting a dog.  Justin’s family never had any pets so getting a dog was outside of his comfort zone a little bit.  He loved dogs, but actually having one was a different story!  We would go visit a friend of ours from time to time and they had the most beautiful golden retriever that we both loved.  We would walk away from their house and Justin would say, “You know…if we had a dog like Lilly then I would be okay with it.”  So, a little time passed and I went to their house again to visit.  I was sitting on the floor with 70 lb Lilly on my lap (!) just loving on her and jokingly told them if they ever wanted to find a new home for Lilly, for any reason, I needed to be the first person they called.  Their response?  ’Well…we’ve actually been thinking and talking about how we might need to find a new home for her.  With all the grand kids we just can’t give her the attention  she needs.’ I immediately text messaged Justin telling him and his response was ‘When can we get her?’ I was ecstatic! I think that was a Wednesday, and we had spent a small fortune at PetsMart the next day and she was ours by Friday!

We truly cannot imagine our life without her!  She’s the most loving, funny and laid back dog.  One of my favorite things about her is just how excited she is to see us.  When we get home whether we’ve been gone 10 minutes or 8 hours she’s always presenting us with one of her toys and growling while wagging her tail, as if she’s so excited to see us that she can’t stand it!  We’ve already made it a family rule to only have Golden Retrievers.”

I think that almost every photographer will find something valuable in this e book.  As the editor of the Daily Dog Tag, its my hope that all photographers continue to build their skills and refine their own style.  I am excited that Charlotte is sharing her expertise to help other photographers grow and reach new levels of artistry.

From Sheaulee:  “King  is a 4 month old Maltepoo.   He’s half Maltese, half Poodle, and ALL royalty.  He is super smart and already knows more than 10 tricks, including how to close cabinet doors. 

This is Olive, King’s best friend.  She is a 65 lb lab who lives 2 doors down from us.  Every time we go near their house, King runs towards their steps, hops up the steps like a little bunny, and waits for Olive at the front door to open it.   He LOVES Olive.

Needless to say we are so in love with King!”

We all know there are plenty of breeds who have negative connotations associated with them and most often someone who has a lot of tattoos has some kind of pre-judgement applied to them.  This simply isn’t true and while doing this project I’ve met  some amazing people and some pretty radical dogs as well.”
