Most of the dogs that I feature on the Daily Dog Tag I haven't had the pleasure of meeting in person. Happily, that is not the case with this dynamic duo, Little Man and Guiness. Last spring my sister Alice and I went on a road trip combining business and pleasure. We were able to squeeze in a short session with these best buds.John and Jen adopted Chocolate Lab mix, Guiness, from Lab Rescue of the LRCP. At the adoption fair, Guiness flashed his big "Adopt Me eyes" and seemed to be ... continue reading
In Loving Memory: Indiana
When I saw these lovely photographs that Two Birds Photography sent of a beautiful Belgian Sheepdog mix named Indiana (who has since passed), I knew they would help serve as a great reminder of what a treasure professional portraits of our four-legged loved ones really are. I love the fact that this session was shot on a mix of film (Holga and Hasselblad) as well as the Nikon D700. Engaging Tails: Pugs Galore
What better way to start the New Year than with a post that is likely to put a smile on everyone's face? As soon as I saw this engagement session by Rachel Mason, I was deliriously happy. The icing on the cake was when I read that some of the Pugs were from one of my favorite rescues: DFW Pug Rescue. From Abby (Pug enthusiast) "My first pug EVER was Captain but sometimes he likes to go by the name of Chunky. He was not from DFW as I found him on craigslist from some breeding couple ... continue reading
Happy Tails: Porter
I am a sucker for a handsome dog and I fell hard for Porter. He looks so dapper in his scarf that I'm sure no one could blame me. He is not crazy about wearing scarves for his pictures but his mum made him do it anyways. He is ball obsessed and upon seeing a ball forgot all about the stupid scarf."Of course no ... continue reading
Spotlight: Milo the Small
This December one of my favorite pet bloggers, Pamela, came up with a brilliant idea: the Pet Blogger gift exchange. She paired everyone with a partner and I was paired up with an anipal dog blog from Ireland, Milo the Small. When I read his blog, I try to imagine this handsome fellow speaking with an Irish accent. It makes me smile. Milo was a rescue from Leitrim Animal Welfare Centre and shares a family with 2 other dogs and his best friend, Wiggles the cat, 5 other cats and ducks and ... continue reading
