This mug will always be my favorite!  Not only are the portraits adorable, I know some of the dogs personally, including my dog Theo in the top left.

Organic Treats

The way to any dog lover’s heart is through her dog.  And the way to most dogs’ hearts is through their stomachs.  My dogs are crazy for the USDA Certified Organic treats from Ava’s Pet Palace! The treats check a lot of boxes for me.  They are organic, don’t have wheat, soy, or corn, and are made in the United States.  Equally important, Ava’s Pet Palace also donates a portion of the sales each month to a special organization.  She is even open to suggestions for which rescue organizations to help.

Cloth masks are recommended or required for everyone these days, and Etsy has a ton of options.  This one from Embroidered Magic is stylish and is available with a pocket option for a filter.  If you want to show your love for cats, they offer several cat prints and even a fun cat face mask.  Although I’m a dog person through and through, I admit that one is pretty awesome!

55Tree offers a lot of different embroidery kits.  I gave one to my daughter this year for Christmas, and she is enjoying her new hobby.  After completing a kit, she developed the skills and confidence to make her own designs.  I’ve loved seeing all her creations, especially, now that she has more time on her hands.

If you have extra time, you might just want to bake this recipe from The Shakespeare Shop.   Although I’ve never wanted to live in the 16th century, I want to taste that bread!

These custom portrait mugs are so cute!  Each one holds about 10 ounces and is nontoxic and lead-free.  SavaKermamika also makes adorable candle holders, ring holders, and ornaments.

As a kid, I was an avid letter writer, and I think fun stationery like this from ModernPinkPaper is a great way to encourage letter writing, no matter what age you are!

Although I can’t draw (or paint) worth beans, I would love to try a DIY Pet Portrait Watercolor Kit from MadStidArt.  You send a photo of your pet and receive the drawing,  paint supplies, as well as painting tips for completing a 9 X 12 watercolor of your companion.
