Oh, that is sad.  This method  for acclimating a dog to a camera works pretty well with shy dogs.  Lay it on the ground and place a treat near it.  Let him sniff the camera at his own pace, gradually putting treats on it, or giving him praise for getting close to it.  Once he seems comfortable with the camera, try picking it up and randomly pushing the shutter so he gets used to the sound.  Always take it slow and let him get comfortable.  If he is stressed, either move the camera further away or stop until another day.  Eventually he should get used to the camera so you can get some great photos of him!]]></description>
