Rolled Banana Beet Dog Treats

Ingredients
  

  • 1 banana
  • 1 beet (steamed or roasted)
  • 2 cups flour (divided) We used oat flour

Equipment

  • blender (optional)

Method
 

  1. You will be preparing two batches of dough
Banana Dough
  1. Mash the banana.
  2. Add 1 TBSP water
  3. Stir in 1 cup of flour.
  4. Mix well and set aside.
Beet Dough
  1. Mash beet with 2 TBSP water. (A blender makes it easier)
  2. Combine beets with 1 cup flour. (Add more flour if the mixture is too sticky, more water if the dough is too crumbly.)
  3. Roll out each dough ~1/4 inch thick
  4. Place one dough on top of the other
  5. Using cookie cutters cut out dough
  6. Bake 10-12 minutes
  7. Let cool and serve to the best dogs you know!
