I was thrilled to receive this gorgeous session from Australian photographer, Rose Punch of Petal Photography.
From Rose: “This is Bella, a 5 year old German Shepherd. Bella lives in Sydney with her mum and biggest fan, Anita. These two girls have a beautiful little bond that whilst photographing them, it was almost impossible to not be totally immersed in their big bubble of mutual love for each other. “
From Anita: “At 5 and half years of age, Bella still acts like a puppy! She still does crazy zoomies outside and inside of the house, chases any bird that dares to set foot in our backyard and has barking contests with the neighbourhood dogs. Bella brings a lot of joy and laughter into our family. It is always great to hear how much she missed us when we pick her up from the kennels after a long holiday, or to see her tail wagging madly, welcoming us home, the lifting up of her back leg when she wants a scratch on her tummy, and see her look of expectation when she sees us eating her favourite food, ice cream. Of course she can be very vocal when she thinks mum is slow with her dinner or brekkie, will never be a dog who wins obedience awards and is not dog social… but we love her to bits and wouldn’t have her any other way.”
You can see more of Rose’s lovely work on her wedding and portraits photography blog and Petal Photography on Facebook.
