The holidays are rapidly approaching, and while I tend to be a procrastinator, I’m shopping early this year. I’ve rounded up some awesome holiday gift ideas for dog lovers for 2020. All of these gifts can be purchased online, and many are from small businesses.

If there’s one thing I know about dog lovers, it is that their love for their dogs knows no bounds. A sure way to make a dog lover happy is to give her something that shows you understand how much her dog means to her.
Although it is not a necessity, every dog deserves a beautiful collar, like this green velvet one. While the one Theo has is no longer being made, I found a similar one from the Foggy Dog. These are handcrafted in San Francisco. In addition to velvet collars, The Foggy Dog also carries collars in various patterns, including several plaid options. They also sell face masks, bow ties, and lovely rope leashes.
Any dog mom would be happy to have a matching her favorite furry friend.

Silver Honey is the perfect stocking stuffer and is available in both an ointment and a spray. It should be in every dog’s first aid kit. Use it on dry, itchy winter skin, irritations, nicks, cuts, burns, hot spots, etc.
When Nelly’s seasonal allergies flare up, she starts chewing on herself. The natural, medical-grade active ingredients in Silver Honey helps her skin heal, and it contains a bitter agent to discourage her from chewing. All of the ingredients in Silver Honey have been tested for low toxicity and are safe. It breaks my heart to see her suffer, and Silver Honey has helped us cope with her allergy flare-ups.
With Noble Friends’ custom puffer jacket, she can wear her heart on her sleeve!
I love everything about this cute planter from Rally And Roots. This pretty much sums up my priorities. Since many plants can be toxic to pets, be sure to choose a pet-friendly one. The Sill is a great source for plants; they even have a pet-friendly filter.
The way to a dog’s heart is through his stomach, so a bag of high-quality treats makes a great gift if your coworker has a dog. Some of the brands my dogs love include Einstein Pets, Newman’s Own Dog Biscuits, and Buddy Biscuits. If you have time, try making our vegan Peanut Butter Dreams for dogs. If you have the time and energy, make a treat jar to make it extra special..
Pack of Playing Cards
Thanks to the pandemic, most people are staying in. A Pack of Dogs playing cards from Artiphany is sure to bring a smile during a game of solitaire or poker. I’m thinking about different ways of displaying these cards. They are too cute to stay in a drawer in between games!
