Everything is better with dogs, especially photography sessions! If you are making a bucket list of beautiful places to visit, add Bland, Virginia to the list! West Virginia and Virginia photographer Amanda Gibson photographed this lovely dog-friendly fall engagement session earlier this year. Labradors, Cooper and Clyde, had lots of room to run and play during the photo shoot.
From Amanda: “Kristen and Cody couldn’t wait till next year to be married, so they decided to bump up the wedding to this November. Kristen’s parents recently bought a house with gorgeous property where the engagement session was taken. They were married at the end of November with the same beautiful mountains as their backdrop.”
From Kristen: “I had been looking at Yellow Labs because my family and I had just lost ours about a year and a half prior. And of course, Cody was totally in, and that’s when we found Cooper in August of 2018.
We kind of had shared custody of him until we moved in together in January of 2019.
Fast forward to the next year, and I had been obsessed with having a silver lab, and I had been looking for a while. I was visiting my brother in Pennslyvania and found out that there was a silver lab puppy available in Ohio. The puppy and I have the same birthday, so I just knew it was fate. So that’s how we ended up with Clyde.
Their personalities are polar opposite. Clyde is definitely the annoying little brother, and Cooper tolerates him on most days, but they freak out if the other isn’t around.”
Hopefully, Clyde and Cooper will be in the wedding photos too!
