From Helena: “I’ve been so fortunate to photograph Mr. Mason and his family over the last three years, as their family has grown and expanded. Callie and Will rescued loveable Mr. Mason from a shelter after college and back before they had their first little one. Mr. Mason is an affectionate, loyal, and loving bundle of energy. His white fur always immaculately groomed, and he always loved being in the pictures.
I’ve photographed their family four times over the years, and Mr. Mason has always been a part of them, in front and leading the family on his leash, with a happily wagging tail trailing behind. In this submission, I wanted to share a few images from each family session over the years, because I just love how they’ve always incorporated him in the family photos and been excited to feature him – he has been part of the family since the very beginning!
Their toddler is four and super close with Mr. Mason, as I loved documenting in the solo shots of the two of them. 
Mr. Mason is 13 years old and has aged beautifully in the past four years of family photos. These photos were taken at Gantry State Plaza Park in New York City. 
From the family: “Mr. Mason is almost 14 now and still as loveable (actually more so) than he was in puppydom. He’s great with his little human siblings, with the sole exception of being a pacifier stealer (and eater). He keeps under the high chair spotless. Is especially fond of watermelon. And relishes being the only “baby” to sleep in his mama and daddy’s bed every night all night long.”

This is a great family. I had never gone to this park but it has such great views of the city. Mr. mason is 14 but seems rejuvenated by the kids.
It was wonderful to learn more about this family. Mr. Mason looks like such a wonderful fur baby.

I love this photo shoot. The dog is totally adorable, but what I love most is that it is obvious that the parents have taught their children to be respectful to their dog. Yes!

Can you imagine how much they must work on keeping the dog’s coat clean. That alone is impressive proof of a well cared for doggo. These are beautiful photos and I have rarely seen a photo of a dog that looked more loved by their family. Makes my heart happy.
