Even though it may be hard to remember what day of the week it is, Happy Friday! Rockzie, the Boxer, posed for her personal photographer (and dog mom) Tabatha O’Brien in the bluebonnets of Rockwall, Texas.
From Tabatha: “My 13-year-old gray face boxer Rockzie loves to get dressed up and walk around at the parks! I took her out to the bluebonnets and threw a red, white, and blue bandanna and red sunglasses on her, and she just sat pretty while I captured a few shots!
A friend of ours was a boxer owner, and his dog had puppies. He was looking for homes for them, so we drove 250 miles to pick one up! We intended to get a male, but when we showed up, all that changed! The owner wasn’t home yet, so we waited outside of the property for him. Next thing you know, this cute little pup found her way out of the fence and came right up to us smothering us with kisses! We knew right then and there she was the one! She totally picked us!
Some of her favorite things include: doing tricks, peanut butter, short walks, exploring new parks, (she even stops to smell the flowers), sniffing around the dog park while ignoring the other dogs, kissing babies, sunbathing in the backyard with her mom, wrestling with her dad, and taking long naps with her best friend Hidey the cat!
She’s 13 years old now, and her face may be gray, but she’s still a puppy at heart, and we’re still obsessed with her! She’s pretty much the best diggity ever!”

These are great shots. I love the one with the sunglasses and bandana. Too cute.
That Rocksie seems to have a lot of spunk left. The outfit was cute but she does not need any accessories to make her look great.
Boxers are one of my favorite dogs! They have the sweetest wrinkly faces. I would love to own one one day.
What a handsome dog! I am about to hang outside with my friend and her dog, he adds a great dimension to the boredom of quarantine, and every day!
Amazing photos! I love the background and the beautiful flowers give a nice touch to the scene! Rockzie seemed really happy too!
I love the photos of her wearing sunglasses and a bandana. It gets no cuter than that.
What a sweet doggo. I would love to have one of my beagles featured here!
Aww these are such cute photos. Rockzie is sooo photogenic. He looks like he’s enjoying the process.
I love stories of people being chosen by their pets. Rockzie the Boxer appears to have chosen well.
These a beautiful photos and the sunglasses and the bandana looks really good on her.
OMG! Roczie is such a cool dog and too cute! I love the flowers in these photos!
Heartwarming! What a beautiful girl Rockzie is; and such character. I love to see the markings created by age and life experience. The connection we have with our senior dogs is precious. We can see that connection in these photos; the way Rockzie smiles for you and her eyes are relaxed. Thank you so much for sharing.
I love a good senior pet portrait session… such a cutie!
