Like many of you, I’m obsessed with dogs. My Instagram feed is 90% dogs, I read many dog blogs, and I grin whenever I see a dog in public.
But the most important dogs in my life are the three that live with me. They each have their own personalities, likes, and pet peeves.
Throughout the day, I make time for my dogs. I try to have my dogs practice their tricks a few times a day and reward them with small treats. At the end of every day, Theo and I hang out together. Nelly happily sits in my lap or nearby, while Sophie prefers to lounge on the kitchen floor.
Although Theo loves cuddling and plush toys, he is always hoping for a treat or a snack. Occasionally, I like to give my dogs a snack just for being themselves. Theo is incredibly food motivated, and I think he appreciates getting a snack for no apparent reason. (Other than we love him.) I’m pretty sure my dogs equate food with love.
This weekend we’ll be having an early Thanksgiving dinner with my husband’s family. It is always a big event. My brother-in-law provides the staples, and everyone else brings a few dishes. We’ll be bringing a couple of side dishes, including homemade cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole, as well as a pie. (I will make two of everything, one to share and one to enjoy at home.)
There will be about 40-60 people there, including a lot of little kids. Unfortunately, it isn’t a dog-friendly event, so my pups will stay at home.
And although I love my husband’s family, interacting with so many people in one day leaves this introvert a little exhausted. As you might suspect, my favorite way to recharge is by spending time with my dogs.
I’m already looking forward to cuddling with my dogs on the sofa. I’ll also be enjoying the perfect post Thanksgiving snack: Crantastic Crostini. It is an easy and tasty snack for humans but not so great for dogs. However, much to Theo’s delight, I picked up a bag of Vita Bone® Artisan Inspired®Biscuits Turkey Stuffing & Cranberry flavor dog biscuits.
Theo is absolutely wild about the taste! He nearly lost his mind waiting for his snack.
Made in the United States, Vita Bone Artisan Inspired Biscuits are made with real meat, fruit, and vegetables. They are free of corn, by-products, or artificial flavors. The Turkey Stuffing & Cranberry flavor smells just like Thanksgiving dinner.

First of all, what a cute little pooch!! I know any dog would love these dog bones.
My mom is getting a new dog in December. I should gift these to her!
Her new dog will love these!
This would be a fun little treat for my dog. We always get them a Christmas gift and it’s usually a fun treat that we don’t normally buy. Something like this would be fun.
OMG Our doodle would love these!!! With the holidays coming I’m definitely going to get these for him <3
My dogs are all highly food motivated and these look really good.
Wow this looks like a fantastic product! I bet my pooch would love this.
Thanks for hosting this giveaway. I have to make sure to tell my friends about these. I know their fur babies are going to love them.
Wow! Dog treats are awesome! I can see a huge smile on your dogs face. Beyond happiness!
My girl Franny loves these biscuits!
Wow my two dachshunds would love these!! I might need to check them out. Thanks for sharing.
I bet dogs of all shapes and sizes love these treats. A real Thanksgiving treat for our pooches.
My dog likes to play chase. He will chase the kids around and let them chase him. The goal is to not let them tag him.
This pup looks like he lovesss those treats!
That is such a wonderful giveaway for those having dogs! One of my girlfriends got a dog last month and now I know what to gift her this holiday season!
This is a great giveaway for dog owners! I don’t own a dog but my kids have been asking me to adopt one!
My beagles would love to chow on some of these! They are well made and look delicious!
Such a cute pup! I know my dog would love if he got “fancy ” treats!
That is a cute pup. These are really fancy treats. I don’t have dog. But I will share this post with my friend who has dog.
This is really great for dogs. Though I only got cats
Oh wow, that looks so satisfying, even to ME. HAHA. I’m sure a cute little pup is going to enjoy these too! I know my little Beckham will if he were still living.
These biscuits will make your dog’s day for sure! They look incredibly delicious!
These look great and relatively easy! I had a bad experience with making my own dog treats once, gave our dog the worst gas, but I might have to give it another shot with these!
I’m always looking for an excuse to get something (else) for my dog! I’m sure she’d love these treats just as much as your pup 🙂
Your photos are gorgeous, I just want to hug Theo! We love VitaBone treats at our house too. The Turkey, Cranberry & Stuffing flavored ones really do smell just like Thanksgiving! My dogs love them. I am amazed that you can make TWO of everything for Thanksgiving – I really admire your ambition, LOL!
Love & Biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
These dog biscuits looks so delicious that I can eat them myself. Just kidding. And Theo is so cute.
I am going to buy these biscuits for my dogs.
I love how your cranberry recipe the other day was the perfect treat for humans and this is the perfect treat for doggos! And festive too!
Oh my! You dog is so cute and photogenic! It makes me want to have a photo shoot with my pup. I think my girl would love those treats, too!
I love your photos, they are so cute 😀
Enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family. I also prefer to stay at home than go out to dinners but if I have to I go and try whenever possible to take Layla.
Great Giveaway but Layla does not eat biscuits so we will be skipping this great give away. Good luck to all those that enter
The treats look great enough for humans to eat and the doggy is perfect for any commercial.
These pictures of your dog are adorable! This post made me smile– thanks for sharing!
My dog loves treats & would love to try these.
Wow, these look amazing! I am glad there is a variety of treats for dogs! My dog only got the basic snacks back in the day.
Thispost made my mouth water and I confess I laughed at the lip licking pup! Even the dog biscuits look delicious although as someone who is not keen on large family gatherings you have my sympathies about the crowds.
That does sound yummy. Though Cookie prefers turkey breast to the stuffing 🙂 Actually, she has no idea what the stuffing tastes like. She does love the organs that we put in the stuffing, though.
These are so cute for your pup! I don’t have a dog yet, but I have been thinking about getting one for Christmas or after.
Getting a dog is always so exciting! I hope you’ll consider adopting one!
The biscuits look tasty and I love your photos. Just in time for a Thanksgiving treat!
Those dog treats look almost as good as the crostini. I’m sure your pups will love them but miss you during the family celibration.
Those biscuits sound good enough for us to eat! I wish there was something like that for kitties too. Your thanksgiving gathering sounds really good (though I’d be exhausted by it too.)
Looks like some puppies are going to have a delicious Thanksgiving treat!
I know my dogs would love these. And, on the off chance they don’t, I just might eat them myself. They sound so good!
I have three crazy rescued Treeing Walker Coonhounds and more than anything, they love to eat! After that, it’s running around our back yard and barking. Of course, even more so they love going for walks!
These sound great and so easy to make for the pups
Turkey stuffing and cranberry favored treats. What a great idea! Now the pups can join in on the Thanksgiving fun even if they are not invited to the table. Thanks for sharing. BTW love the pictures.
Thanks!
My 3 pets love to stand next to me in the kitchen to see if I’ll share any human food with them hahahaha
Figgy would think it was Christmas
Love the pics! My dogs like to play with their toys, go for walks and eat 🙂
Play fetch a lot.
These treats look so amazing for our dogs! I will have to grab some!
