People often talk we need to more like dogs: live in the moment and enjoy the little things in life. Mocha, the Labrador Retriever, sets the bar pretty high. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she brought a lot of laughter to this engagement session with Trish Kemp Photography.
From Trish: “When Miguel and Laura contacted me to set up their engagement shoot, it was SO important to them to do their shoot at the beach, and include their adorable girl, Mocha. As a dog lover, I was of COURSE over the moon with this idea. I selected Napatree Point, in Watch Hill, Westerly, Rhode Island, which provided the PERFECT backdrop for their fun and romantic session! Throughout the shoot, Mocha continually stole the show and kept me laughing. She always looked like she was smiling, and in turn, made both Laura, and Miguel have one of the most memorable shoots I’ve ever done. I hope she makes you laugh and smile ear to ear as much as I did when photographing her! (Laura and Miguel aren’t too bad either!)“

From Laura: “TRISH IS A DREAM PHOTOGRAPHER! 
Miguel and I had only been dating nine months after we met at Umass Amherst and he surprised me with Mocha. Miguel and his siblings were searching for a family dog, and when they picked Daisy there was this other little pup that wouldn’t leave Miguel’s feet, so he got her, and she was my college graduation present from Umass! Mocha lived with me for the last three months in college and made more friends than I did in four years. Mocha and Daisy (sisters) see each other every weekend. They cause havoc while maintaining the sweetest Labrador retriever faces.
Mocha, like a true Lab, eats everything in sight, even avocados or cantaloupe left on the counter. [Editor’s note: Many people believe avocados are toxic to dogs, they are not, but the pits can be a choking hazard.] She worships frisbee time and is the sweetest happiest dog on earth.
She changed our lives for the better. The best part of my day is playing frisbee with her in the sunsets.”
