I can’t believe that summer is essentially over. The New York State Fair ended, schools are in session, and the NFL season officially kicks off tonight. I figured today was the perfect day to share these photos of Eli, the longest Giants Fan. Eli the Dachshund joined his favorite people for their engagement photos with Jamie Bodo Photography. If you’re more excited about fashion week then football, we have you covered. There are lots of photos of Eli looking handsome in his bow tie.
From Jamie: “For Sarah and Danny’s engagement session, it was VERY important for them to include their dog, Eli (named after Eli Manning… and Eli has his own jersey!).
Eli is the beloved Dachshund that they consider their ‘fur baby.’ Eli is a HAM!!! He loved the camera and attention!”
From Sarah: “Who would have thought a little dog would have such an impact on our lives. We knew Eli was special the day we brought him home.
Eli even helped Danny propose to me! He wore a shirt that said ‘will you marry my dad,’ so we knew we wanted to include him in our engagement photos. The day of the photo shoot Eli made sure everyone knew he was the star by looking extremely handsome and barking at every person that looked in our direction.
He loves cuddling with his mom, playing ball with his dad, competing in weenie races at the annual Oktoberfest Festival and trying to catch squirrels in the yard! His huge personality always keeps us entertained.
Our lives would be incomplete without him!”

OMG! He is SO adorable. Especially with that little bowtie on. I’ve been itching to get a puppy of my own, but alas life circumstances haven’t panned out quite yet.
I’m sure you’ll find the perfect dog when the time is right. I think it is important to wait, even though it can be tough until your circumstances are right to have one.
This is too cute – I love that he has his own jersey! I think it’s great when couples show their passion in fun photos like this.
Dachshunds have a very special place in my heart since my first dog was a miniature long-haired Doxie. I love his jersey and his bow tie is adorable! <3
As a Giants fan, I heartily endorse this post! Lol. Too cute that they named him Eli. His bow tie is adorable too. Where I live, they do a weenie race for charity, and it’s so fun to watch!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this because I am such a Giants fan. Love that the couple did a whole family photo with their dog in NY Giants jerseys.
He is just the cutest with his shirt on LOL. I do not watch the games but always giggle when I see dogs wearing the shirts. The photographs were fantastic
Eli the dachshund sooooooo cute! What a sweet, happy family! And that picture of Eli with his tongue hanging out! Oh, Eli, you look so happy!
I love how they feel Eli completes their lives. He looks adorable in his bow tie, and I love his little jersey!
Eli is a total cutie, especially in that bow tie. I love the little jersey, too! Looks like he’s leading the good life with Sarah and Danny.
