Pose A Pet™ is a terrific idea whose time has come. Professional pet photographer, Jennifer Whalen from Fetch Portraits used her experience of photographing over 3000 dogs to help develop this app. The app has some terrific sounds that are sure to capture any (hearing) pet’s attention.
We know that a great photo can help a dog get adopted. In a shelter situation, there is so much going on that it can be confusing and overwhelming, making it difficult for a dog to show his best side. That’s where the genius of this app is, with over 20 distinct sounds in the premium version, you are sure to get the dog looking in the direction you want. It is more than just an awesome noise maker though! Besides letting you photograph that irresistible head tilt, it has an easy way to add vital information. This app works as adoption flyer and you can also use it to make a lost pet flyer.
My favorite part of Pose A Pet though is the premium version ($2.99) is a fundraiser for rescues. Half of the proceeds goes to a rescue. In exchange for sharing the information about Pose A Pet I’ve asked Pose A Pet to make Lionel’s Legacy their 50/50 Shelter donation this week. Lionel’s Legacy is a an awesome rescue dedicated to saving senior dogs.
Visit Pose A Pet on Facebook to learn more about them. If you’d like to help raise money for your favorite shelter, here is a great infographic for you!
Join the #rescuerevolution and download Pose A Pet app today. You’ll not only help Lionel’s Legacy, but it will help you to get some great photos of your dog.
Disclosure: I have knowingly and willingly signed up for this Pose A Pet™ campaign in order for Lionel’s Legacy to financially benefit from the app downloads. However, Daily Dog Tag nnly shares information that we feel is relevant. Pose A Pet™ is not responsible for the content of this article.
just used the app to get the best head tilt of all time from rufus.
This is a great app! I love it!
If you’ve ever noticed that I rarely post photos of Nike, it’s because she’s so dang uncooperative as soon as she sees the camera. I am definitely checking out this app with hopes that it will change my photographic life! 🙂 I’m also going to look into using the app to help my shelter! Thanks for sharing!
The noises are pretty awesome! I hope it helps with Nike, we have the same thing with one of my sister’s dogs. She sees the camera and turns into a miserable looking dog.
