The Labrador and Golden Retriever mix, Penny joined her favorite humans for their engagement photos with Diana from Love and Latitudes. Diana found a gorgeous location in Half Moon Bay, California, for this dog-friendly engagement session.
From Diana: ” The California coast is so vast and so varied, perfect for so many different occasions. From the long sandy beaches of southern California to the coastal redwoods of Big Sur to the rocky cliff sides of Mendocino—there’s so much to explore. Including this spot that I was finally able to take a couple too.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve been drawn to this spot for some time now, so when they wanted their engagement shoot to take place in a foresty part of the Peninsula, I knew exactly where we were going to go. The Monterey Cypress trees come together just beyond the shore and create a beautiful and mysterious tunnel. Pair that with the August fog and unexpected sunset, and you get a perfect engagement session. They, of course, brought their puppy Penny to the photoshoot! What a way to celebrate their upcoming marriage.”
From the couple: “At the beginning of the pandemic, puppy adoptions were in high demand. So, we didn’t think we’d be fortunate enough to get a pup of our own.
Luckily, we did get in touch with a couple who had a litter of puppies that needed new homes.
Penny is our Golden Retriever and Labrador mix. She’s a fun-loving pup who loves people as much as she enjoys other dogs. She loves running and wrestling with friends at the beach, as well as long hikes and visits to the dog park for socializing.
Penny is eager to please. She’s house-trained and extremely food motivated. She knows her commands like sit, stay, sit pretty, stand, touch, shake, bow, and go to bed.
While Penny loves attention and affection, she also needs plenty of naps throughout the day. If she’s comfortable and familiar with you, she may even cuddle with you during a snooze.”
