While I am not a person who only covets one breed of dogs, I am drawn to some breeds more than others. One of those is the Boston Terrier. I mean, who doesn’t like dog who is always ready for anything? Thanks to Mandy Whitley Photography for these photos of handsome Monroe and his favorite person.
From Mandy: “Abi and Monroe in historic adorable downtown Franklin, Tennessee. We had so much fun walking up and down the streets and even popped into a couple of shops.
Everyone wanted to stop and pet Monroe!
We also went to a nearby lane with these beautiful evergreens – a favorite spot of mine. Monroe is Abi’s sweet Boston Terrier. Abi paints pet portraits and is also a local Nashville wedding vendor with a lighting business!
She ADORES Monroe.”
From Abi: “Monroe was found three years ago roaming the streets of West Tennessee. I like to say he was finding his way to me. He is always dressed to the nines in his formal attire and ready to party as his coat looks like a tux. Monroe spends his days as the neighborhood watch when he is not in the office overseeing all of the events at Bright Event Productions. He is also my main muse and inspiration for Abi and Monroe my pet portrait company. Monroe keeps a watchful eye on every painting I create, and his approval is a must before they are sent out. Monroe has so much spunk and character.
I know as a dog owner I probably sound like a broken record, but he keeps me laughing every day. I did not realize how much I needed him until he found me.”

This is so cute! Dogs are the best!
Monroe is adorable and he does look like he is wearing a little tux! One of my friends has Boston Terriers and I agree that Bostons are a really fun dog breed!
Stop!!! That puppy’s ears! So so cute. What adorable pictures 🙂

What a cute little dog. I love Boston Terriers!
Gorgeous photos! These two look very, very happy together. I’m so glad that they found each other. Monroe seems to be a spunky, curious pup. 🙂
